SHF offers several draft crosses for sale in 2021
Shadow Hollow Farm offers for sale three well started 4 year old draft crosses (Shire sire) with great brains and a solid training history. They are offered for sale with two in the high four figures (that means just under $ 10,000) and one in the low five figures (that means some what over $ 10,000). Price may go up with additional training as the horses progress past mid 2021.
All three are located in Southern Indiana. They have a strong foundation on their start, and all are very easy to ride. They are still learning – but are very accepting of the rider’s aids and willingly follow guidance from their rider. All three have an excellent foundation on the ground, have good manners in the barn, have been worked consistently in the arena, and have gone on trail rides. All three are very balanced in their movement, are laid back with naturally forgiving dispositions, and have that “oh so comfortable” movement that draw riders to the draft crosses.
They are ready to find long term partners. These three gems are located in Scottsburg, IN which is about 25 minutes North of Louisville KY or an hour South of Indianapolis IN (both have major airports). The horses have been in professional training for over six months and will remain with trainer until sold.

Skyler – SOLD September 2021 Bay gelding, Shire/TB cross. 16 hands, very growthy right now so I think he will top out at 16.2-3, and very possibly 17 hands Big bone, and will probably mature to carry a very big rider. Skyler is very eager to please. He has fantastic jumping abilities with great form and understanding on how to use his body. Leroy - Just Listed!!! Don't miss out on this guy. Four year old (2017) , beautiful seal brown with lots of chrome! Shire cross, 16.2 hand gentle giant will carry amateurs or smaller children. Big bone, fills out a long leg. Good barn manners, he helps out in the school horse program and has done horse shows with children, poles through 2." Would make a great field hunter, paper chase, combined training, as well as hunter jumper. Great barn manners. Sound and sane, jumps well and has wonderfully smooth gaits. Goes in a plain snaffle.
