Trained and rides like a polished junior equitation horse. He can do all three rings, with high ribbons and championships. Quiet and steady in the hunters, adjustable and fabulous flat work in the equitation ring, and is handy enough and will spark up and put on speed for the jumpers. Amazing adjustability of step.  Razz him up and he can do the horse steps in the jumpers.  Dial him down and he will canter cross poles and pack. Soft, flexible and relaxed, Yankee is "rider focused," he tunes into the rider's leg and hand exceptionally well when asked. Yankee has a strong foundation, is highly adjustable and balanced. He is the perfect step up for the short stirrup or medium pony rider that wants to get ready for the junior hunters, equitation ride, or low jumpers, his training, abilities and willingness will help prepare the young rider for the 3'-3'6 " rings. Easily and quietly makes the horse strides down the lines and even in the jumper combinations. Quiet enough for up down beginners to ride (many championships at cross poles and 2'), but takes it up a few notches when going 2'6" to 3'. Goes in a plain snaffle. Has had seven years of show experience, with early years strictly at lower fences to keep the wear and tear to a minimum. Great barn manners, simple to prep at shows, loads great, stands quietly at the wash rack and for braiding, farrier and vet. No vices or soundness issues, no history of colic. Show miles in N.
